Wimbledon

I have to confess that I did watch some of the tennis today. I was not the only one to make an error of judgement. I noticed Wayne Rooney in the crowd looking perplexed. I think he was in Wimbledon looking for Wombles, and just took a wrong turn.
I watched only briefly. However, it was sufficient time to form the conclusion, that the thing I hate most about Wimbledon is that I will never get that time back again!

  2. Why are male tennis players so puny? The women have more muscles.

  3. It was great that Murray won, but it wasn't an event I was prepared to miss the sunshine for.

  6. I watched it all. I don't know why, it kind of sucked me in this year. It was actually quite exciting in the end. Our country in doom and gloom needed the lift. Unfortunately, it is all over now, so it's back to the doom and gloom.

  9. Murray has not really got the body or looks to start his own underwear range like Borg did.

    1. I didn't know Borg had his own line of briefs. Did he model them himself?

  12. I don't like tennis, and I don't like Murray. He didn't appear very happy when they interviewed him.

    1. That's just what Scottish people look like when they're not allowed chips in their diet.
