Richard III

The legal battle over the reburial of Richard III is still raging. A variety of towns and cities throughout England have a legitimate claim to his bones.

Personally, I think the issue under discussion should not be where he is buried, but rather how he should be buried. Our economy is on it's knees. Surely we should be viewing this as a chance for financial gain. The Royal family are responsible for hoards of tourists visiting our shores and bolstering our economy with their spending. So let's capitalise on this golden opportunity.

    2. Edmond Blackadder cut his head off. So he won the battle but lost his life. Far better than the true story.

  5. Why not bury him somewhere in the commonwealth?

  6. Bury him where the economy is at its poorest. It could boost local trade.

  7. Why not make a sculpture of him?? If Tracy Emmins can get away with an unmade bed and a tent, I reckon the local primary school kids could knock something up and put it on display for ALL to see....

  8. The skeleton isn't intact, so why not bury some bones at each town with a claim. They can all claim the burial site and attract tourists.

    1. I'm not sure that would be allowed. Not very respectful.

His name was Buckeyed Richard the Third and he was so mean and nasty! He stole from the rich and kept it to get women and drink, Personnaly I think he was meaner than your Richard.
